Will Roswell, New Mexico return for Season 5 on The CW?

No, Roswell, New Mexico will not return for Season 5 on The CW because it was previously canceled by The CW.

Fans will be disappointed to learn that Roswell, New Mexico will end after its current season, Season 4, finishes.

The Roswell, New Mexico fandom certainly did its fair share of grieving back in May, during a time when many other shows were canceled as well.

Roswell, New Mexico’s cancellation

Deadline confirmed that Roswell, New Mexico was axed by The CW, during the network’s flurry of cancellations back in May.

Alongside Riverdale, The CW also canceled Riverdale, Dynasty, Charmed, 4400, Naomi, Legacies, In the Dark, Batwoman, and Legends of Tomorrow.

The CW likely canceled many shows because of its recent acquisition, putting the network’s future in uncertainty. Nexstar Media Group purchased The CW from WarnerMedia and Paramount.

Roswell, New Mexico has nine episodes within Season 4 on The CW, which began with the airing of Episode 1 on June 6, 2022.

Each episode lasts between 40-43 minutes in length and the series finale is scheduled to air on Monday, August 8, 2022.
