Monica Lewinsky is asking Beyonce to remove her line from the Partition lyrics after the singer made changes to her Renaissance album, but what exactly did the singer say in the song?

Beyonce found herself in a bit of trouble after some users called her out for the lyrics in her song Heated. The singer agreed to remove the ableist slur from it.

Now, Monica thinks her name should also be removed from the lyrics of one of Beyonce’s old songs.

What did Beyonce say about Monica Lewinsky?

Monica decided to hop on social media and ask Beyonce to change the lyrics of her 2013 song Partition. Reacting to the news she had written: “uhmm, while we’re at it… #Partition.”

In the song, Beyonce is referring to Monica’s affair with President Bill Clinton. The lyrics for the song go as follow:

Driver, roll up the partition, pleaseI don’t need you seeing ‘Yoncé on her kneesTook 45 minutes to get all dressed upWe ain’t even gonna make it to this clubNow my mascara running, red lipstick smudgedOh, me so horny, yeah, he want to f**kHe popped all my buttons, and he ripped my blouseHe Monica Lewinsky-ed all on my gown

What has Monica Lewinsky said before about this?

This is not the first time Monica is opening up about the line in Beyonce’s song. Speaking to Variety in 2014, she noted that Beyonce might have gotten the lyrics wrong.

She said: “Thanks, Beyoncé, but if we’re verbing, I think you meant ‘Bill Clinton’d all on my gown,’ not ‘Monica Lewinsky’d.”

Now, she made headlines again for asking Beyonce to change the lyrics as she alters the lines in Heated.

What did Beyonce say in Heated?

In her song Heated, which was co-written by Drake, Beyoncé used a derogatory term for spastic diplegia, a form of cerebral palsy.

Following the backlash, a representative for the singer told Insider: “The word, not used intentionally in a harmful way, will be replaced.” This comes weeks after Lizzo was called out for the same by social media users.

Lizzo had used the same term in her song Grrrls. The singer was quick to apologize and change the word in it.
