Ryan Alebiosu is earning praise at Kilmarnock with the Arsenal talent making a great first impression on boss Derek McInnes.

Arsenal are producing some quality talent through their Hale End academy setup.

Bukayo Saka is the shining light of Arsenal’s academy setup, and he didn’t even have to go out on loan to become a star.

For some though, getting out and playing games is the way forward. Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe went down that path, as have Folarin Balogun and Brooke Norton-Cuffy in recent times.

Ryan Alebiosu has already secured his loan for the season and it’s already showing promising signs.

Alebiosu spent the second half of last season out on loan at Crewe Alexandra as they suffered relegation from League One.

The 20-year-old has been coming up through the Arsenal ranks having joined the club way back at the age of just eight.

Alebiosu hasn’t yet made his first-team debut for Arsenal but has previously been brought in for first-team training by Mikel Arteta.

Primarily a right wing back, Alebiosu is a strong player at 6ft 2in tall and he has been sent off to Scotland this season.

Kilmarnock swooped in to take Alebiosu on loan for the season with Derek McInnes making a big addition to his squad.

Alebiosu featured for Kilmarnock against Stenhousemuir on Saturday as the Scottish League Cup took centre stage.

McInnes has now spoken to Killie TV about Alebiosu, heaping praise on the Arsenal talent.

McInnes praised Alebiosu for a ‘positive’ debut in a Killie shirt, even claiming that he put 90 minutes of effort into the first half alone.

The Scot added that Alebiosu’s debut was ‘terrific’, believing that Kilmarnock fans will love watching him of the course of the season.

“Young Ryan, what can you say,” said McInnes. “He was so positive. He looked as if he really enjoyed being out there. I couldn’t have been more impressed with him.”

“We were hoping to get a bit more minutes from him but we just looked at his numbers and he actually put a 90-minute performance into 45 with his energy levels. He’s played the game the way he’s been in training. The fans are excited by him and they’re going to enjoy watching him. What a terrific debut,” he added.
