Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with top Serie A talent. Antonio Conte really wants Spurs to sign Roma’s Polish talent Nicola Zalewski, but Paris Saint-Germain are also keen. (Calciomercato)

Arsenal defender Nuno Tavares could be on his way out of the club – just a year after arriving from Benfica. Atalanta are favourites to sign the Portuguese left back on loan with talks ongoing. (Fabrizio Romano)

Rangers are on the verge of signing Besiktas left back Ridvan Yilmaz. The 21-year-old is expected to arrive at Ibrox imminently after Rangers struck a deal worth £4million plus add-ons, landing the Turkish international to help replace Calvin Bassey. (Daily Record)

Newcastle United’s search for a winger could now take them to France, with Rennes speedster Kamaldeen Sulemana now a prime target. The Ghanaian ace is valued at around £30million and Newcastle have lodged an enquiry. (Daily Mail)

Another wide man being linked with Newcastle is Harvey Barnes. The Leicester City star is understood to be on Newcastle’s wish list, but the Foxes will demand around £50million for their outstanding winger. (The Sun)

Nottingham Forest have signed one striker this summer but still want another; this time it’s Borussia Monchengladbach striker Alassane Plea on their wish list, with negotiations ongoing over a potential transfer. (RMC Sport)

Southampton want yet another Manchester City talent after signing Gavin Bazunu and Romeo Lavia. This time it’s Liam Delap on their wish list, but a deal worth £16million has been rejected by the Premier League champions. (The Athletic)

Manchester United are set to loan midfielder Hannibal Mejbri out to a Championship club. Birmingham City, Middlesbrough, Millwall and West Bromwich Albion are all interested in the 19-year-old. (Sky Sports)

France are into the semi-finals of the Women’s European Championship after a 1-0 extra-time win over the Netherlands. Eve Perisset’s penalty was enough to win it for France in a real battle at Rotherham’s New York Stadium.

Tottenham Hotspur came from a goal down to claim a pre-season win over Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday. Antonio Colak scored for his new club before Harry Kane produced two second-half goals to give Spurs a 2-1 victory.

Erik ten Hag’s winning run as Manchester United boss is over after a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa. United were 2-0 up before crumbling in the second half with Calum Chambers bagging a last-gasp leveller in Perth.
