It seems as though Richard Keys and Simon Jordan have been well and truly rattled by Jesse Lingard opting to join Nottingham Forest over West Ham United.
It’s not just the controversial transfer call that has had people talking, but Lingard using TikTok also seemed to have upset the middle-aged men.
Former Aston Villa striker, Gabby Agbonlahor, was having none of it and made his feelings pretty clear towards the ‘dinosaurs’ after his supposed West Ham snub, as he posted on Twitter.
Bitter owner strikes again… He’s a very good player and I hope he posts even more on tick tock to annoy all you dinosaurs — Ga11agbon (@ga11agbon) July 22, 2022
After leaving Manchester United when his contract expired in June, many expected Lingard to end up at the London Stadium – following his successful six-month loan spell last time out.
The 29-year-old’s potential move to East London dragged on and on, with Newcastle United entering the fray and wages becoming an issue when discussing a possible deal.
Even though, it seemed as though David Moyes was keen to bring him back and a possible deal was getting close, only for the attacking midfielder to end up at Nottingham Forest.
It’s a call that has caused a lot of drama, with the England international being accused of going for the money, whilst Lingard asked the fans whether he should have ‘JLingz’ on the back of his shirt.
Well, Agbonlahor labelled ex-Crystal Palace owner, Simon Jordan, ‘bitter’ for his comments, whilst he told former Sky Sports host, Richard Keys, to ‘shut ya mouth’ after they seemingly couldn’t sleep at night because Lingard was contemplating putting ‘JLingz’ on the back of his Forest shirt.
Another idiotic dinosaur! Shut ya mouth— Ga11agbon (@ga11agbon) July 23, 2022
LINGARD’S TIKTOK USE HAS PEOPLE RATTLED
If Lingard has been overhyped, just isn’t good enough or his career is going down the drain, it’s not because of TikTok but because he simply doesn’t have the qualities.
It’s amazing what type of picture the media can paint of Lingard, regarding his use of TikTok and possible call to have ‘JLingz’ on the back of his shirt.
It’s okay for Sergio Aguero to have ‘Kun Aguero’ or Javier Hernandez to have ‘Chicharito’, but let’s hunt down Lingard for wanting to have his own nickname.
Robert Lewandowski is a regular user of TikTok, yet he isn’t criticised, if people think the former Old Trafford star using that platform affects his performances, then it’s papering over the real cracks that it’s because he’s probably not as good as its made out.
Either way, Lingard keeping Forest up, putting JLingz on the back and constantly deciding to dance would be the perfect season for him because it will leave a number of individuals well and truly annoyed.
