Moyes saw what Kostic can provide from left-back up close and personal when West Ham faced Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League semi-finals. He also saw Cresswell pull Jens Petter Hauge down as the last man to earn a red card, just 19 minutes into the second-leg.

Eintracht Frankfurt would be open to letting Kostic leave Deutsche Bank Park to join West Ham and avoid him leaving for free next year. Talks are now ongoing over the fee needed to sign the 48-cap international, who could take Masuaku’s place in the Hammers’ squad.
