David Moyes’s West Ham United are considering a bid for Newcastle United target and Watford star Ismaila Sarr in the summer transfer window, according to talkSPORT.

West Ham considering bid for Newcastle target Ismaila Sarr

The repot has claimed that West Ham are weighing up an offer for Watford winger Sarr.

Watford new manager Rob Edwards wants to keep the 24-year-old Senegal international winger, but the Championship club’s hierarchy have told him that Sarr will be sold if a suitable offer comes in for him.

Well-known and well-respected journalist Dean Jones told GiveMeSport in June that Newcastle United want to sign Sarr from Watford in the summer transfer window.

Jones said that the Magpies view the Senegalese as “a game-changer”.

Watford exit inevitable?

In our view, it is very likely that Ismaila Sarr will leave Watford in the summer transfer window, especially with big clubs such as West Ham United and Newcastle United interested in him.

Watford will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League.

We know how competitive the Championship is, and there is no guarantee if or when the Hornets will be back in the Premier League.

Sarr – who earns £63,000 per week as salary (Spotrac) – has done well in the Premier League, and it is unlikely that he will want to play in the Championship if he gets offers from West Ham or Newcastle

The winger is “frightening” and his “acceleration is phenomenal”, according to his former Watford teammate Ben Foster on the Premier League’s YouTube channel in September 2021.

Sarr has scored 10 goals and created 14 big chances in 50 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
