Rangers fans jeer former Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster during Tottenham game

Former Celtic goalkeeper Forster joined Tottenham on a free transfer earlier this summer following his departure from Southampton at the end of last season.

The 34-year-old was in action for Tottenham in their pre-season friendly match against Rangers at Ibrox today.

The former Newcastle United man came on as a substitute in the sound half for Hugo Lloris.

Lloris is the number one goalkeeper at Tottenham, while Forster has been signed as his back-up.

The Scottish Sun have reported that when Forster came on for Tottenham, he was ‘jeered by Gers fans’.

Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold has also reported that Rangers fans jeered Forster.

Tottenham won their pre-season friendly match against Rangers 2-1.

England international striker Harry Kane scored both the goals for the Premier League club.
