Could Alexis Sanchez return to the Premier League? The forward is on the transfer radar of Arsenal and Aston Villa this summer and he has seemingly made an interesting call at Inter Milan.
Sky Sports report that Sanchez has decided to tear up his Inter contract and, as a result, he can become a free agent, which opens the door for the likes of Arsenal and Villa to possibly sign him.
It was reported over a month ago that Arsenal were eyeing a possible shock return for Sanchez, alongside their Premier League side rivals, Aston Villa – Sanchez left the Emirates back in 2018 to join Manchester United in a swap deal involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
That was one of the worst deals in Premier League history and one the Arsenal fans might not forgive the player for.

COULD SANCHEZ RETURN TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE?
During Sanchez’s time in England’s top-flight, he notched up 63 Premier League goals, including winning two FA Cups – one in a final against Villa.
Mikel Arteta could do with some more depth to his attacking line, as they push for a return to the Champions League, added to the fact that they are back in Europe.
But would it be wise for the north London side to move for an ageing player that would probably eat a good chunk out of their wages? Probably not.
Over in the Midlands, Villa fans are questioning whether they need more firepower ahead of the new Premier League season.
Steven Gerrard is looking for that know-how to push Villa over that European line next season, as well as possibly winning a trophy.
Sanchez has that in locker, but in truth, he’s probably not the answer to their problems and it’s best if they look elsewhere.
Either way, when the Chile international does officially become a free agent, then it will be interesting to see what direction he heads because he might want a taste of the Premier League for one final time.
