Tottenham Hotspur Managing Director of Football, Fabio Paratici, wants AC Milan to pay €25 million (£21.21 million) in transfer fees for Japhet Tanganga, according to CMW.

The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that AC Milan are interested in signing Tanganga from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

Milan, who won the Serie A title last season, want to secure the services of the 23-year-old defender on loan with an option to make the deal permanent next summer.

Tottenham are willing to send the homegrown defender out on loan, but Paratici wants the deal to have an obligatory buy clause of €25 million (£21.21 million).

CMW have added that Milan and Tottenham could come to an agreement.

Japhet Tanganga likely to leave Tottenham for Milan

In our view, it is very likely that Tottenham Hotspur will be able to strike a deal with AC Milan over Japhet Tanganga.

If Milan are keen on the 23-year-old and the player himself is open to a move to the Italian champions, then Tottenham are likely to facilitate a move for the defender who has come through the North London club’s youth academy.

It could take a while for the two clubs to each an agreement, but we expect a breakthrough.

Perhaps Tottenham could lower the fixed amount Milan would have to pay next summer and include add-ons that over the length of his permanent contract at the Italian club would eventually get the fee to more than €25 million (£21.21 million).
