Juventus are considering offering Moise Kean to Paris Saint-Germain in a player-plus-cash move for Leandro Paredes, despite interest from West Ham and Aston Villa in their striker.

That’s according to Tuttosport, who report the Bianconeri have marked Paredes as the top target to reinforce Massimiliano Allegri’s midfield. The Serie A side believe they need extra engine room options, despite Paul Pogba’s return as a free agent from Manchester United.

But Juventus chairman Maurizio Arrivabene and sporting director Federico Cherubini must remove some of their deadwood from the Allianz Stadium before they can seal any moves. So, they wish to suggest including Kean for Paredes during an upcoming summit with PSG.

Juventus also plan to request signing Paredes on loan for the season, with an obligation to buy next year for €15m (£12.75m). Paris Saint-Germain value the Argentine at no less than €20m (£17m). Although the Bianconeri can close the gap in valuations with Kean involved.

PSG signing Hugo Ekitike on loan from Stade de Reims with a £24m option to buy can slow their interest in Kean. But the Ligue 1 giants want to offload Parades as he will not have an important role under Christophe Galtier and is also insisting that the club let him move on.

Juventus could scupper West Ham, Aston Villa interest with Kean intentions

Juventus’ intentions to include Kean in a deal to sign Parades from Paris Saint-Germain can also scupper West Ham and Aston Villa’s interest in the former Everton striker. The Italian only returned to Turin last summer on a two-year loan featuring a £24m obligation to buy.

But Kean failed to establish himself back at the Serie A side with six goals and three assists over 42 games, starting just 14, for 1,375 minutes across all competitions. Yet the 22-year-old still has a market in England, with David Moyes and Steven Gerrard open to his arrival.

Reports by Il Bianco Nero back in May noted West Ham met Juventus chief Cherubini over Moyes’ interest in Kean. CalcioMercatoWeb also cited interest from Aston Villa in Kean in June, with Juventus possibly using the striker as a makeweight in a move for Douglas Luiz.

Neither Aston Villa or West Ham have yet added a centre-forward to their ranks in the off-season. But Cameron Archer could help bolster Gerrard’s ranks with Danny Ings and Ollie Watkins, while 90min note Moyes is pursuing a deal for Sassuolo star, Gianluca Scamacca.
