Barcelona have been offered Sergio Reguilon with Tottenham Hotspur keen to offload the left back before the end of the transfer window.
Tottenham have brought in an impressive six new signings to bolster Antonio Conte’s squad ahead of the new season.
This has been uncharacteristically efficient business from Tottenham, who now look solid across the pitch and another incomings will likely be opportunistic deals.
Tottenham do though need to offload some players and Conte’s unwanted list is abundantly clear.
Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Harry Winks and Sergio Reguilon were all left out of the pre-season trip to South Korea, with Tottenham hoping to sell all four.
Barcelona have been offered Sergio Reguilon
Finding buyers won’t be easy given the wages involved and, in most cases, the fact that Tottenham forked out considerable money for them.
Reguilon is maybe the most surprising one; he hasn’t quite lived up to his billing since arriving in the summer of 2020 but he has been much more use than Lo Celso and Ndombele in recent times.
The Spaniard cost Tottenham £27million as he made the move from Real Madrid after shining on loan at Sevilla.
Conte has seemingly seen enough of Reguilon and wants to go into the new season with Ryan Sessegnon and Ivan Perisic as Tottenham’s two left-sided wing backs.
So what next for Reguilon? There have been links with a return to Sevilla but a new rumour has now emerged.

Mundo Deportivo report that Reguilon’s agent Kia Joorabchian has made new calls to offer the left back to Barcelona this summer.
Barcelona were allegedly offered Reguilon weeks ago but didn’t bite, though with deals for Marcos Alonso and Javi Galan proving difficult, Barcelona remain in the hunt for a left back.
Reguilon’s availability may well appeal to the Catalan giants and Joorabchian is seemingly pushing for Barca to make their move.
Tottenham continue to be linked with Barcelona attacker Memphis Depay and it would be fascinating to see if some kind of part-exchange deal can be worked out there.
Barcelona continue to spend despite their financial woes and Tottenham may well fancy a slice of that pie by offloading Reguilon to the Camp Nou; let’s see if Joorabchian’s calls can tempt them into a move.
