A PS Plus August 2022 free games leak has possibly emerged, there are two titles leaving PlayStation Extra and Premium next month, and a new day one trial has been confirmed.

Yesterday was a fantastic day for PlayStation subscribers. If you are subscribed to either Extra or Premium, you are able to play Stray at no additional cost. And it is a fantastic day one release that currently boasts an 84 on Metacritic for PS5.

While Stray is undoubtedly the best title added to PlayStation Plus in July, next month is around the horizon and fans are hopeful for more great experiences.

What are the PS Plus August 2022 free games?

Below is the PS Plus August 2022 free games leak:

Dino Crisis (PS One)SoulCalibur Broken Destiny (PSP) Ridge Racer 2 (PSP)

This possible leak comes courtesy of Sony themselves. As reported by Nibel on Twitter, the three games listed above were found on the Italian PlayStation blog post for the Extra and Premium July 2022 announcement.

They have since been removed from the blog post, so it’s possible they could be added next month. However, it’s also plausible that they could arrive beyond even August.

If the above do come out next month, they will only be available for Premium subscribers as they’re classics.

There’s no possible leaks for Essential or Extra as of writing. However, the next batch of Essential game will be revealed on July 27th.

New PlayStation day one trial

A new PS Plus Premium free games trial confirmed for August 2022 is Rollerdrome.

This will be released on August 16th. Seeing as it’s a trial, it will only be available for Premium subscribers and therefore not playable for Essential or Extra members.

Similar to Horizon Forbidden West and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, the trial should allow you to play the game at no additional cost for two-hours only. Confirmation of this trial comes courtesy of YouTuber PlayStation Portal.

The Summer Sale promotion comes to PlayStation Store July 20, featuring discounts on a huge range of games, add-ons and more. More details: https://t.co/iXabLMVkMt pic.twitter.com/uGOT3Gx1dB— PlayStation (@PlayStation) July 20, 2022
