What Should You Expect?

It’s reasonable to expect that a large portion of today’s presentation will be about the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

The titles release later this year and there’s still plenty we have to learn. I’m expecting we’ll find out more about the starter Pokemon, the name of the region and a handful of new Pokemon and supporting characters.

Alongside this, Pokemon Unite is currently celebrating its first birthday, so it’s likely we’ll get some news on this, plus Pokemon GO has an unannounced event taking place at the end of August, so I’d anticipate hearing what this is.

Putting on my tinfoil helmet for a moment, it also wouldn’t surprise me if they announced Pokemon Stadium is the next game coming to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass service. The last two games have both been Pokemon, Snap and Puzzle League, so why stop there.
