MultiVersus: How to unlock all characters from Batman to Superman

The MultiVersus free to play open beta is out today and not all of the characters are immediately available as you need to know how to unlock the likes of Batman, Superman, and Arya Stark.

It has a huge roster of fighters at launch ranging from DC Comics superheroes to beloved cartoon icons like Taz, Bugs Bunny, and Tom and Jerry. Lebron James joins with the start of the open beta, but there’s more on the way such as Rick and Morty who are set to arrive in August for season 1.

We cannot wait to play as Rick and Morty, but – for now – there are 16 characters that you can play as.

How to unlock characters in MultiVersus

There are three ways to unlock all characters in MultiVersus: Gold Coins, Gleamium, or Tickets/Tokens.

Wonder Woman is unlocked by completing the tutorial, meanwhile Harley Quinn, Jake, Taz, and Shaggy are immediately available. However, everyone else needs to be unlocked via the above methods.

Golden coins are given away for free by simply playing the game. You earn them by completing battle pass tiers, playing multiplayer with friends, and completing missions.

Meanwhile, Gleamium is a premium currency. Below are the prices and corresponding amount of gleamium (via PSN store):

As for character tokens/tickets, you can get them by purchasing a Founder’s Pack. Below are the prices and bonuses for each bundle:

The Gleamium total for all eleven characters is 7,700. If you go the Gleamium route, you’d have to buy a 6,000 and 2,2000 pack for a combined £58.98. For that price you’d be better off buying any of the Founder’s Packs because of the character tokens.
