Michelle Obama’s ‘send me a text’ tweet explored

On Wednesday, July 20, Barack Obama’s wife posted a black and white picture of herself on Twitter.

Along with the image, she wrote: “I have some exciting news I want to share with all of you! Send me a text at 312-847-4044 and I’ll tell you more about it soon. I can’t wait to hear from you!”

The tweet has even been pinned to her account. But, she did not specify who the number belonged to or what would happen on sending a text.

In no time at all, the post went viral, leaving her followers confused as they couldn’t figure out if it was Michelle tweeting or if her handle was hacked.

Followers think her account is hacked

Many of Michelle’s followers were quick to comment under her post asking if her account was hacked, as there was no way the former President’s wife could have shared her contact number on a public platform.

“You know and I know that Ms Obama will not put her phone number on Twitter let’s stop trying to scam everybody in this world it’s a shame always got to be someone trying to scam somebody,” commented one.

Another asked: “Are you for real or has your account been hacked.”

“I think her account has been hacked, cos this is too good to be true,” wrote one.
