Joseph Quinn officially made Jimmy Fallon an honorary member of the Hellfire Club when he appeared as a guest on his show.

Quinn became a household name when he made his Stranger Things debut in season 4 as Eddie Munson and after his performance in the hit Netflix show, it isn’t hard to understand why the character gained such a cult-like status – including making people wish they could join his on-screen Dungeons & Dragons group, the Hellfire Club.

Fallon has been selected as one of the lucky ones, it seems, as when the 28-year-old British actor appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he made the presenter an honorary member.

Quinn starts by saying he brought Fallon a present then reveals a ‘Hellfire Club’ shirt while telling the presenter: “We’re missing a member.” A nod to the loss of Quinn’s character, Eddie, at the end of season 4.

Fallon then says: “I am honored, I’m part of the Hellfire Club.” – and the rest of us are all incredibly jealous still and waiting for the day Eddie Munson asks us to join.

Eddie Munson ‘saves’ Joseph Quinn from US Immigration

The cute moment between presenter and guest comes swiftly after Quinn explains how ‘being’ Eddie Munson saved him from the US immigration ‘dungeon’ after he got stopped after his flight to the US.

He said: “I was held up at immigration yesterday… and I was taken into, I guess what you could call it more of a dungeon,” Quinn told Fallon. “And I was waiting for about 20 minutes and then I was summoned to this desk where someone asked me, ‘what are you doing in the United States, Sir?’

“I said, I’m actually here to meet Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. And he didn’t believe me,” Quinn recalled.

Quinn was quickly saved when the immigration officer’s colleague recognized him as Eddie from Stranger Things, Quinn added: “And one of his colleagues looked over at him, looked at me and said: ‘Leave Eddie alone!’”

The colleague then got to ask the question we all want the answer to, does Eddie come back?

The actor added: “And then he said ‘it’s Eddie from Stranger Things’ and he was like ‘You’re Eddie Munson?… Do you come back next season?

“I was like I don’t know… and he said ‘you better’ and gave me my passport.”
