Leeds United could be able to bring Arnaud Kalimuendo from Paris Saint-Germain to Elland Road in the summer transfer window, according to journalist Miguel Delaney in his Reading the Game newsletter in The Independent (12:05pm, July 22, 2022).

The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported today that PSG are considering Leeds’s bid of €20 million (£17.03 million) for the 20-year-old is under consideration.

The striker is looking at his options, and Leeds are very attractive to him, according to Delaney.

Arnaud Kalimuendo from PSG to Leeds United could happen

Delaney wrote in his Reading the Game newsletter in The Independent (12:05pm, July 22, 2022): “Leeds United’s deal for Paris Saint Germain’s Arnaud Kalimuendo, which the Independent reported a few weeks ago, is still on.

“Those close to the situation consider it likely. A €20m bid remains under consideration, as the striker himself has been assessing his situation and seeking to ensure he makes the best decision for his future. That naturally involves seeing what else comes in, but Leeds look increasingly attractive.”

Exciting

In our view, Leeds United fans should be excited at the prospect of the club signing Arnaud Kalimuendo from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window.

The French youngster has come through the PSG youth academy and has played for the first team a handful of times.

Now, that is no mean feat when you consider that PSG have some brilliant attacking players, such as Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

Kalimuendo did well during his loan spells at RC Lens over the past two seasons.

The 20-year-old, who can play as a central striker or out wide, scored 12 goals in 27 Ligue 1 starts for RC Lens last season.

During the 2020-21season, Kalimuendo scored seven goals and gave three assists in 13 Ligue 1 starts.
