How many times has Joe Biden had Covid-19?

Joe has never had Covid-19 before. This happens to be the first time he has tested positive for the virus, per White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, reports CNN.

She further added: “Consistent with (US Center for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines, he will isolate at the White House and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time.”

Meanwhile, First Lady Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have both tested negative, as of Thursday.

In the video posted on Twitter, President Biden assured his followers that he was well and would continue to carry out his duties as usual.

President has been vaccinated

President Biden has been vaccinated twice and has also received the boosters.

He received his first two doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine in January 2021 and got his first booster shot in September.

The president got his second booster vaccination on March 30th this year.

The White House’s Coronavirus coordinator, Dr Ashish Jha, told CNN that Biden didn’t have a fever on Thursday.

He tested positive on an antigen test on Thursday morning, as a part of his routine screening. The result was later confirmed using a PCR test.

The POTUS gave us a cancer scare

Earlier this week, the President’s health was at the center of social media discussions following his remark about “having cancer” during his speech about climate change and the dangerous effects of industrial waste.

He made a reference to having skin cancer in the present tense, which led to many thinking that he was currently suffering from cancer.

Talking about people in his hometown using windshield wipers to rid of the oil deposit on the windows, he said: “That’s why I, and so damn many other people I grew up with, have cancer.”

However, it was later confirmed that he was referring to his past when he was treated for non-melanoma skin cancer.
