‘He never gets tired’: Gabriel Jesus shocked by one Arsenal teammate already

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has raved about his new Gunners teammate Gabriel Martinelli on Podpah on YouTube.

Jesus recently joined Arsenal from Premier League champions Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

The Brazil international striker has been training well and has already banged in goals in pre-season friendly matches for his new club.

One Arsenal player Jesus has been really impressed by is his compatriot and fellow forward Martinelli.

The striker has been shocked by how hard the the 21-year-old Arsenal forward works, saying that he never gets tired.

Jesus said about Martinelli on Podpah on YouTube, as transcribed by Arseblog: “Woah! Martinelli – he’s an animal. An animal! He never gets tired!”

Encouraging

In our view, Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus’s comments on Gabriel Martinelli are very encouraging for the Emirates Stadium faithful.

The 21-year-old is one of the best young players in the Premier League, and Jesus being so impressed by his Brazilian compatriot underlines his quality.

Martinelli is still developing and improving as a player, and his place in the Arsenal starting lineup when everyone is fit and available is far from certain.

However, Jesus’s comments show what Martinelli could bring to the team.

Martinelli has scored 11 goals and created eight big chances in 57 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
