FIFA 23 Trailer Release Date, Leaks & Player Rating Predictions

The FIFA 23 Trailer release date is almost upon, with plenty of news expected following the latest Pre-Order leaks and player rating predictions.

EA Sports will be lifting the veil back on what they have been working on, in what will be the last game they make in the foreseeable future with the traditional FIFA branding.

Starting next year, a new EA Sports Football game will be released that will no longer follow the usual numbering, meaning there will not be a FIFA 24 from the Electronic Arts team.

But for now, here’s what we know is happening this week as part of the big FIFA 23 trailer reveal.

When Does The FIFA 23 Trailer Come Out?

The release date and time for the new FIFA 23 Trailer have been set for Wednesday, July 20, at 5pm BST (12pm EDT) on YouTube.

The cover art for the Ultimate Edition of the game has already been revealed, and features PSG’s Kylian Mbappe and Chelsea’s Sam Kerr. This will be the third time that Mbappe has appeared on the FIFA front cover, and with the changes coming next year, the last too. We don’t know exactly what will be confirmed during the FIFA 23 Trailer, although some of the game’s main features and upgraded mechanics are expected to be the focus.

EA Sports could also choose to share the FIFA 23 Pre-Order date, and there are separate reports suggesting that this could happen on July 20. However, these remain unsubstantiated predictions, and should be taken with a big pinch of salt. While we don’t know when fans will be able to pre-order the next EA Sports game, FUT Sheriff has shared some early information on what rewards it will contain.

The well-known source for all things FIFA has revealed some of the pre-order bonuses for the Ultimate Edition, which will reportedly include One Untradeable FIFA World Cup FUT Heroes player, One Untradeable Ones to Watch Player, One TOTW1 player, 4600 FIFA Points, A FUT Ambassador Loan Player Pick, A Mbappe Loan worth five games, and a Career Mode Homegrown Talent.

Meanwhile, fans have been sharing their own FIFA 23 ratings and predictions before the big reveal drops. There are plenty of big players who could receive downgrades this year, with Lionel Messi a real possibility to hit 92. Mbappe is expected to jump up the rankings, and considering he will be on the cover again, could make for an easy 92 Rating prediction. But others are much harder to pin down; And with Robert Lewandowski and Cristiano Ronaldo both heading to new clubs, it will be interesting to see how it affects their place among the greats.

Other fan suggestions include Diogo Jota rising in the ranks to an 85+, with Marcus Rashford facing a serious downgrade from FIFA 22. Official ratings reveals aren’t expected until September, but there will be plenty more debate going on before this week’s big FIFA 23 trailer reveal. Other players expected to stay within the 90+ Ratings bracket includes Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Neymar Jr.
