‘Fantastic in training’: Cedric Soares wowed by one expensive Arsenal signing already

Arsenal defender Cedric Soares has raved about his new Gunners teammate Gabriel Jesus on ESPN.

The Arsenal right-back believes that Jesus has been a brilliant signing for Mikel Arteta’s side in the summer transfer window.

The Portugal international has been impressed by the Brazil international striker in training.

Arsenal paid Premier League champions Manchester City £45 million to secure the services of Jesus this summer (The Daily Mail).

The 25-year-old has hit the ground running at the Gunners and has scored already in pre-season friendly matches.

Cedric told ESPN about Jesus: “I am very excited by him as well because he is obviously pure quality with what he showed at Manchester City all these years. He is a great guy, and he has been fantastic in training. I am sure he will help a lot.”

In our view, Gabriel Jesus has been a brilliant signing for Arsenal and is going to make the Gunners better in attack.

Jesus is a proven striker who can also play out wide and will give Arteta options.

The 25-year-old has arrived at Arsenal with a winning mentality and a lot of experience, having won Premier League titles and played in the UEFA Champions League with City.

Jesus has scored 58 goals and created 28 big chances in 159 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.

Playing as the number 9 at Arsenal, the Brazilian will only add more goals to his tally.
