Gabby Agbonlahor has claimed that Harry Kane would leave Tottenham Hotspur for Real Madrid because ‘everyone’ wants to play for the Spanish club, as he told talkSPORT.
The former Aston Villa player was reacting to claims that Bayern Munich are keen to sign the 28-year-old – and how he wouldn’t want to make that switch to German’s top-tier, but to Madrid, it’s a different story.
Noises coming out of Bayern, from key figures, has seemingly upset Antonio Conte, who labelled comments from Julian Naglsmaan as ‘disrespectful’ after he expressed his admiration for Kane.

Last summer, there was a lot of talk about Kane’s future in north London, with well-documented rumours that he wanted to head for Manchester City, but it’s all quiet on that front now with Conte running the club’s ship.
Whilst Agbonlahor doesn’t think Kane would leave Spurs for Bayern, he does think the lure of Real Madrid would be too much.
“I think it would have to be a Real Madrid for Harry Kane to really leave the Premier League,” said Agbonlahor. “I don’t think he would (leave anyway).
“But I think if Real Madrid came in for him, then that would be a reason to leave Spurs and leave the chance of being the (Premier League’s) top-scorer.
“It’s Real Madrid, isn’t it?! Everyone wants to get the chance to play for Real Madrid.”

SPURS PLAYERS AT MADRID
Whilst Gareth Bale’s relationship with the media and the fans wasn’t exactly marriage worthy in Madrid, at the end of the day, he is a Real Madrid legend with five Champions League trophies to his name.
Then there is the popular midfield maestro, Luka Modric, who just seems to be getting better and better with age, and another former Spurs player that is an icon at the Spanish giants.
Kane could go down the same path, and win the big trophies, including the European Cup, but this forthcoming season is Tottenham’s best chance to finally change that road.
If the England captain lands that trophy in his lap, then he will eager to multiply and continue his career in north London and with Conte at the helm.
But if it heads in the other direction, then fans would rightly get worried and anxious at what might happen next summer when their star player will have only one year left to run on his contract.
