Jose Enrique has urged Bukayo Saka to snub a new contract at Arsenal, and instead, secure a transfer to Liverpool in the near future, as he posted on his Instagram story.

It has been suggested that Arsenal have offered Saka £140k-a-week – that’s double the £70k-a-week he is currently earning – ex-Liverpool left-back, Enrique admitted that ‘it will be nice if he doesn’t renew his contract’.

The 20-year-old Liverpool target has two-years left to run on his current deal and it’s at this stage that players sit down to either extend or look elsewhere.

Saka is one of the brightest prospects in the Premier League today and his 11 goals last season was proof of what he can do when he gets older.

That’s a big reason why as to clubs like Liverpool are looking at his talents and Enrique wants him to secure a transfer to Anfield.

“It will be nice if he doesn’t renew his contract,” said Enrique. “Come to us (Liverpool) next season on a free.”

SAKA SHOULD SIGN A NEW CONTRACT

The Hale-End star has the world at his feet in north London and he should stay put by signing a new contract.

Mikel Arteta has done many deals this summer from Gabriel Jesus’ arrival to Fabio Vieira joining from Porto, but Saka extending his stay, would be the best deal of the lot.

Arsenal want to return to the Champions League, competing at the top and beyond, in order to do that, they need to keep hold of their best players.

Saka is one of the first names on the teamsheet, and if the Champions League-chasing side keep him on board for the long run, then the chances of them reaching their main aim will increase by tenfold.

Plus, if he helps his boyhood club reach the top, then given his connections to Arsenal, he would be a bigger legend at the Emirates than at a place like Anfield.
