Don Hutchison has claimed on Twitter that Tottenham star Harry Kane will outscore Liverpool and Manchester City new boys, Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland next season, after Paddy Pimblett’s comments.

The UFC star and Liverpool fan claimed that he has been ‘laughed’ at, but he feels Nunez will ‘score more goals’ than Haaland ahead of the new Premier League season.

It was elation, tears and joy for lightweight star Pimblett on Saturday night, as he submitted Jordan Leavitt in the second round of their UFC London bout.

Antonio Conte will be hoping his players can suffocate the opposition next season by maintaining their Champions League spot and adding a trophy to their cabinet.

If they are to do that, then the goals need to flow and Spurs have one of the world’s best strikers in the final third, as Hutchison made this claim after Pimblett’s comments.

17 Premier League goals during a half-cooked season

It’s pretty impressive to think during the 2021/22 season, when the first half of the campaign, Kane hardly turned up, he still managed to hit 17 league goals.

That should be seen as a huge positive for Spurs fans because, along with Heung-min Son’s Golden Boot, the duo are more than capable of hitting 20+ each.

If that’s the case, then those around them don’t have to hit double figures, but just chip in with goals during moments when the record-breaking duo are injured, suspended or having an off-day – and the latter won’t happen too often.

Tottenham’s attack is proven, it’s a case of whether the squad can maintain the level and if the defence is rigid and error-free enough to take them over that trophy and Champions League line.

The FA Cup and the League is what would be the club’s realistic aim because if they end up with the Premier League title or the European Cup, then it would be a real shock.
